Posidonia Cup 2010 sailing race, the fifth edition of the biennial yachting event, kicked off the Posidonia 2010 week on Friday, June 4th, 2010. The race involved key players of the Greek and International maritime community, 52 yachts in all classes and nearly 500 crew members, among which a world champion.

Otesat-Maritel together with Inmarsat and its customers competed again with the boat Quicksilver and won the 1st place at Posidonia Cup 2010 of Standard class, going higher than the 3rd place it had in 2008, in an exciting 2.5 hours race starting from Faliron Bay in Piraeus, Greece. Quicksilver’s crew team was Fotis Kontodimas assistant skipper, Agelos Paramithiotis and Elpiniki Savvinou from Otesat-Maritel, Antonis Boudouris the yacht’s skipper, Fragiskos Nikolakis from Samos Steamship, Effie Loli assistant skipper, Dimitris Rerras from Thermopylae LES and Κyle Ηurst from Inmarsat.
