V.T.M.S. (Vessel Tracking Monitoring System) is a service tailored to the needs of shipping companies for tracking their vessels around the globe.
By taking advantage of the capabilities of Google Earth, an application that combines satellite imagery and maps, V.T.M.S. puts world's geographic information at one’s fingertips.
To use V.T.M.S. the user should register with Otesat-Maritel. The positions of a vessel are received via the already established Inmarsat-C or Inmarsat mini-C terminal.
