Inmarsat C - mini C

The system Inmarsat-C/mini-C is the digital storage store-and-forward messaging, as well as telemetry applications and tracking. The system is universally recognized by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) as a system of safety of life and property at sea, meeting the requirements of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS), through which have been established internationally the procedures, the equipment and the communication protocols in order to increase safety and to facilitate the rescue of vessels, boats and airplanes.
