Otesat-Maritel, member of OTE Group, one of the largest telecommunications group in SE Europe, has successfully participated at the largest international maritime Conference and Exhibition of Singapore, Asia Pacific Maritime, from 19 to 21 of March at Marina Bay Sands, Asia’s greatest convention and exhibition centre, based in Singapore.
Asia Pacific Maritime, that is organised every two years, consists Singapore’s premier maritime event regarding shipbuilding & marine, workboat and offshore segments with participation of about 1,500 companies from 53 countries, 16 official pavilions and 15,000 visitors from around 60 countries.
Otesat-Maritel participated at Asia Pacific Maritime with its own exhibition space aiming to the further expansion of its commercial activities in the market of SE Asia. The Company’s stand visited a big number of companies from the SE Asian maritime industry to be informed about the latest developments in maritime satellite communications, as well as the integrated solutions that the Company provides to the maritime industry. Visitors’ interest was particularly focused on the s@tGate service for business usage and crew communications (voice, mail and internet) sharing one rate plan for fixed telecommunications costs for the maritime companies, per vessel.
By participating to the exhibition, Otesat-Maritel continues to promote the provision of its integrated, quality and reliable satellite communications solutions to the Greek and global shipping industry.
